Rolf Munkes started out as a guitar player in bands like Vanize, Majesty, Razorback, Empire and played guitar for ex-Black Sabbath singer Tony Martin.
Guitarist in his super-band Empire, featuring Doogie White (vocals), Neil Murray (bass), Mike Terrana (drums), Don Airey (keyboards), Rolf released four studio albums.
Since 2009 he works as a full-time producer in his own Empire Studios (Germany) as sound engineer and producer.
