After several collaborations as sideman and touring with highly representative Italian pop artists, in the year 2006, Bicio became the first Italian guitarist ever produced by Shrapnel Records’s boss Mike Varney, worldwide famous to started 20 years ago the shred generation fire, producing guitar Gods like: Greg Howe, Vinnie Moore, Tony Mac Alpine, Joey Tafolla, Richie Kotzen and much more…The CD, titled “Cutaway” raised an authentic“tsunami” of positive responses from specialized international and Italian press and fans from the five continents. After then, he restarted collaborating with the most famous Italian singers, tracking his unmistakable guitarfingerprintings on their records and on a countless number of live concerts…Five years later it was time to please his fans that were massively demanding a second solo released… Just sent the demos to Mike Varney, the “Shred Pope” from California, U.S.A. wanted enthusiastically produce the new album. The October 24th, 2011 “Mr.Malusardi” named after his best friend Italian music journalist and Milan Guitar Day organizer Guglielmo Malusardi, was worldwide released by Shrapnel Records. The live premiere debut of “Mr.Malusardi” was on Milan Guitar Day 7thedition stage. The reaction of the crowd was awesome and Bicio seriously thought “It’s time to tour”. He had no doubt; long career, trustable and so amazingly groovy rhythm section composed by Flavio Scopaz on bass and Francesco Corvino on drums, was his choice. After an intense rehearsing month, the LSC Trio, was ready in January 2012, to shred the world and “set the stage on fire” in Italy and abroad. Then was time to record guitars for “Amo” last CD by Renato Zero, and focuse himself on his third solo release which is currently, spring 2013, on recording, keeping in the meantime workshops and masterclasses.
